Before my husband Wes and I became parents, we bicycle toured to and through all lower 48 states. We called ourselves the snails of the road, embracing a slower pace and a front row seat to enchanting roadside views on the path less taken. The old saying is often times true, that it's not the destination but the journey to get there. Documenting both for Outdoorsy this summer to inspire other families to explore the magic of the outdoors would be an honor.
Since having our earth day baby Odin four years ago, we’ve continued our adventurous lifestyle and our greatest memories as a family of 3 are when we’re out there exploring together. And our greatest accomplishment as parents is seeing his curiosity for the outdoors and his excitement for adventure, big and small.
There's so much beauty to see - you just gotta get out there. And we're excited to continue to inspire others to make it happen and hope you choose us to do so!
